A new sign, focused on the streams and rivers in and around the Upper Olentangy River Watershed in Delaware, Ohio, was recently installed on campus (near Edgar Hall). Installation was made possible by Kristin Piper, Watershed Coordinator – Upper Olentangy, Delaware Ohio.
Six signs were funded by the Ohio EPA’s Ohio Environmental Education Fund. The six signs are located at Riverview Park, at Mingo by the new swing, at Mingo just north of the tennis courts on the bike path, at Blue Limestone across the access drive from the playground, on Cherry Street just past the guardrail, and on OWU’s campus. Each sign provides different information about the Olentangy River or Delaware Run.
